A few photos of our furniture shop at The Landing in Shakopee, MN.  The Landing is a living history museum interpreting frontier life along the Minnesota River during the 19th century.  Our shop is a work in progress but we try to add a little each year to show visitors how rural furniture makers worked using a mid-19th century tool set.

I am a picker, and my interest is collecting old home stuff like those for improvement such as stained glass, wood doors and few vintage furniture. It is rare to find these materials specially if they were not handle with care. Just recently I found unique french door that is put on sale at the Liquidation doors showroom in San Francisco and I am so fortunate that I got the one that is made during the early 1900, and many more vintage furniture stuff following on many auctions I have been with.
