Hi, You have a great site! I would like to request a favor. When using your Stanley Plane type study, Which I believe is based on the “Bailey Stanley Iron Planes Types Models No. 1 to 8, written by Roger K. Smith many years ago. I noticed a discrepancy. When identifying a No. 4 Smoothing plane, Type 16, and following all the prompts, it verified my plane, but it showed a picture of a plane without the raised rib at the toe of the bed (I think your picture is a No. 5 1/2). This led to a major disagreement among my friends. I would greatly appreciate if you would replace that picture with one that showed the raised rib.
The original type study was based upon a No. 4 plane. Thanks so much.
