    I’ve been curious about off-center turning on a lathe to create an offset foot, but on a smaller scale.  Specifically I was hoping to be able to turn small shapes with a slight up turn to serve as a hook for objects around my shop.  Anyone have experience with off-center turning and if there’s a minimum length you need?
