Finished this up tonight. I was able to get some practice fitting dovetails and tried a dado for the center piece. I used a wax paste to finish it and give it some protection.

I’m not sure what to try next, any thoughts?

Nice box. Maybe try another box with multiple dovetails on each corner, and a lid? The shaker candle box would fit that bill, and you can find plans all over the internet – or just find a pic and make your own. Looks good, though!
