    I was wanting to get a copy of Roubo’s books in English but have not been able to find them. Does anyone know where I can find them or am i going to have to get a copy of Rosetta stone to go along with it?

      Hi James,

      Lost Arts Press has some material on Roubo  and I believe they are working on an English translation. Don’t expect them to be inexpensive however.

      Like Mike said, you can get a couple of them at Lost Art Press. They have “To Make as Perfectly as Possible: Roubo on Marquetry” and “A Book of Plates”. The book of plates is 472 pages of Andre Roubo’s illustrations, from “l’Art du Menuisier,”. Unfortunately it sells for $100.
