If it wasn’t for the rounded end I could have mistaken it for a socket chisel with a missing handle. The only way I can see that the integrated handle would be long enough to be fully functional would be if the chisel was relatively long. It is almost like the tool was intended to be palmed in use. It strikes me that the manufacturer was trying to give the look of a socket chisel while avoiding the cost of producing a socket and separate handle.
The only tool products with “leaf” in then name that I am familiar with are the Wm. Enders/Simmons Oak Leaf tools the normally had a stylized leaf with the words “Oak Leaf” within. I wonder if this tool could have been produced late in the company’s history or was produced by someone else trying to take advantage of the name recognition.
