I recently shipped back an intricate, carved teak sculpture from and am wondering what the best way to protect it is now that it is no longer in the humidity of Thailand.

I know teak oil is an option but would prefer not to change the color. There are also some areas that have been carved in such layers that I would not be able to get a rag or brush in to coat. Will cracking even be a major issue for teak that is carved so thin? Pics below

    Thanks so much in advance!

It is my belief that a light application of thinned boiled linseed oil is your best option. All finishes will change the color.
