Whenever I get back to my shop I will take a couple pictures so you can see mine. It required very minimal tools as it was one of the first things that I made when I started woodworking it is not perfect but it has room for improvement lol. It was made completly from 2x4s and cost less than $100 minus a vise.
I bought a set of planes from this guy. All of the other plans I had seen over the years looked weak and flimsy and did not impress me. This thing was a monster and I loved it. l payed $18 for the plans and fun to build.
Payed about $500 for the hardware, the wood was free as I tore down a barn. This can be fully disassemble and flat packed for moving. I put heavy duty 1″vibration pads on the feet and added removable castor. If we ever have the BIG ONE this bench would save my life.
